Henne Strand Tropeland is an oasis for children as well as adults in a subtropical atmosphere. No matter how the weather is outside there will always be pleasantly warm in the indoor water complex and a paradise for sun- and waterloving people.

In the indoor water complex there is furthermore a water chute, waterfall, baby swimming pool, sauna and spa pool, where you can be active or just relax. If you want solarium you however have to pay extra. Furthermore you can rent our modern tennis court.
In the indoor water complex there is a cosy café with among other things beer, soft drinks, ice creams and fastfood.

We are situated at the beach and 12 km from Nørre Nebel, Varde.

Here are good swimming opportunities - also for small children, who can go splashing about in the large number of shallow lakes left by the outgoing sea.

The beach is an El Dorado for kite enthusiasts. Thousands of them flock to the beach, particulary during the first weekend on september, when on of the biggest kite festivals of Europe is held on Rømø.
Here is also a popular place for horseriding. From may to october you can rent a horse or a pony on the Lakolk beach.

The beach in Fanø stretches 15 km along the westcoast of the island. It is without doubt one of the best and safest bathing beaches in Northern Europe. Also, it is the scene of many activities such as kite flying, windsurfing, ball games, horseback riding, bicycling, bathing, hiking and, of course, collecting amber.

It is allowed to drive cars on the beach. The speed limit is 30 kph.

Always pay attention to the tide when at the beach. Get a table of the tides at the Fanø Tourist Information.

As a guest at Vejen Idrætscenter and Danhostel vejen you can choose between many various activities.

Indoor:
Swimming bath with 3 pools and sauna, steam bath and massage nozzles. we also have spinning and a fitness centre. Further more we have a café, three sport halls and facilities for holding a meeting or a conference.

The sports centre also has tennis and squash courts at its disposal and a large outdoor area, where you can find some special activities as wall climbing, shooting range, beach volley and paintball.

The Tryg Foundation and the Danish Swimming Union man a lifesaving tower on Vejers and Henne beaches from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. every day during the period 28 June – 21 August.
