Æblehavens Camping is situated in the middle of the “Femhøjsande” a grand forest area.
The place is very good sheltered from the wind. Although the North Sea is only 14 km and the Ringkøbing Fjord 5 km away from the camping.
There are several walking- and cycling routes, also the town Ringkøbing is a visit worth.
For the children is it a nice campsite there are plenty of playing facilities, that also the little ones can have fun.
The landscape is also ideal for the dogs, because there is a special “hundeskov” , the dogs can walk without the leash and Agility is also available.

The high slope against the beach is very good for hang gliding, model flying and paragliders.

Only 1 km south of Hvide Sande harbour is a cosy family camping site. Hvide Sande Camping - Beltana has good sanitary conditions with bath room, nursing room and a toilet for disabled persons. Furthermore, you find a laundry, kitchen and sitting room. Most of the site’s 16 cabins are situated on a dune with a wonderful view of the Ringkøbing fjord.
